Here at United Way of Forsyth County, our mission is to improve lives in our community by mobilizing the caring power and spirit of our citizens. We want to be a community where all people have the opportunity to engage, thrive and achieve a better quality of life.  
    
United Way of Forsyth County fights for the HEALTH, EDUCATION, FINANCIAL STABILITY and BASIC NEEDS of every person in our community. We believe a quality Education leads to a stable job, which provides Financial Stability and the ability to meet Basic Needs and enjoy good Health. These are the building blocks for a good life and a thriving community. When you support United Way, you are helping to create a stronger, healthier Forsyth County and a brighter future for all.

Health:
United Way works to make sure individuals are physically, socially and emotionally healthy.

In 2015, 9,232 lives were impacted in our community.

Education:
United Way works to make sure children and youth have a foundation to reach their full potential.
In 2015, 19,679 lives were impacted in our community.


Financial Stability:
United Way works to make sure individuals and families are financially secure and self-reliant. 
In 2015, 173 lives were impacted in our community.


Basic Needs:
United Way works to make sure people are able to meet their basic needs for food, clothing, shelter and safety.
In 2015, 24,199 lves were impacted in our community.
