Omosaze (Oh moe SAW zay) engages dedicated, board-certified teachers and trained volunteers to help transform children who struggle with school into students who enjoy reading and demonstrate newfound confidence and success in both academic and social settings.

Since its inception, Omosaze reading programs have helped nearly 1,100 students in Cobb County.

Our Programs

Omosaze provides three no- and low-cost, comprehensive reading intervention programs for students in grades 1 - 3:

-Instruction led by certified teachers
-Evaluation for effectiveness
-Vocabulary development, word recognition and reading comprehension instruction
-A structured system, developed by an educational curriculum specialist - targeted to specific Georgia education standards
