Christ Community Health Services Augusta provides primary health and dental care services for the uninsured, the under-insured, and the medically vulnerable in the Central Savannah River Area of Georgia.  Uninsured patients pay for treatment based on a sliding fee scale that starts at $25.

Christ Community Health operates two primary care health centers. We have 13 providers (7 physicians, 1 dentist, 3 physician assistants, and 2 nurse practitioners) on our team.  Our providers are board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Family Dentistry and Pediatrics.

Since opening in November 2007, CCHSA has logged more than 79,000 patient visits. We expect to complete almost 20,000 visits in 2014.

The challenge faced by many of our patients is limited or no access to affordable, quality primary care. They are the medically vulnerable of our community. Many rely on emergency departments for primary care or simply do not seek care until a condition deteriorates to emergency status.

Christ Community Health Services Augusta bridges the gap between those without insurance and the basic health care they need.  In doing so, we not only meet the needs of many in the Augusta area, we also provide relief to the overburdened emergency rooms of local hospitals.
We depend on the generous support of individuals, companies and churches to fill the gap between the discounted fees we charge uninsured patients and the actual cost of the medical services provided.
