With the training and job mentoring assistance from AADD, Kelvice (pictured above) is successfully working at Georgia Spice and supporting his family. AADD serves 425 individuals like Kelvice, many of whom live in poverty and face additional challenges. AADD provides the supports they need to live independently in the community including emergency assistance for food, clothing, transportation and housing. AADD provides help with finding a job and has many recreational activities in the community. We also help nearly 400 additional individuals through our Family Support Center gain access to services and resources to help navigate the challenges that people with developmental disabilities face every day. Our social workers help solve problems, navigate benefits and financial resources and educate parents on important issues.
